About Me

I have had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. However, it was safaris in 2013 & 2014 to South Africa and Botswana, respectively, which inspired me to focus on wildlife and landscape photography. In 2016 I entered some photos in the Golden Plains Art Exhibition and was awarded the ACA Funeral Supplies - Acquisitive Prize for my "Morning on the Bay" scene. In my opinion the joy of photography is that most photos can be printed in various sizes to cater for that space on your wall.

I have always loved wool and started to spin when my girls were small, I progressed to weaving and felting after joining the Geelong Handweavers and Spinners Guild.
I have been fortunate in having the opportunity to exhibit samples of my work at local exhibitions, Geelong and Bendigo Shows and to have been a section winner at the Scarf Festival at the Geelong Wool Museum.

Over the last eight or so years I have been enjoying my card making for family and friends. The craft is enjoyable, soothing, satisfying and a wonderful way to socialise and meet new people. It is a craft that can be done at home as well as being easily transportable to other crafting venues around Victoria and even aboard a crafting cruise!
