About Me

Jadee is a 2016 VCE art student and in 2017 will be studying visual art at university.

Jadee is interested in mixed media, symbolism and perceptions and interpretations of artistic expression. Primarily Jadee works with felt pen/chalks/pastels, and synthetic polymer paint on a variety of found and used foundations. Jadee is influenced by the movement of both form and energy.

The medium I like to explore is silkscreen. I enjoy the tactile texture of silkscreen  and unpredictable  marks which are created during the printmaking process. The textured and often layered silkscreened monoprints on fabriano or canvas printed in  various colours are created in a manner that allows for transparency and layering.
