My name is Janet Caruana and I started painting 15 years ago, starting with folk art and then progressing to other art forms. I use mainly acrylics but do dabble in watercolour and experiment with mixed media. I like using inks, watercolour pencils and different mediums, anything I feel will give me the effect I am looking for. Nothing is discarded if I feel it is worth a try.

When Colleen went to her first glass class about 6 years ago, she fell in love with the wonder of the medium's transparency. She was enthralled by the colour and light and the magnificent range of colours, from the soft tints to intense colours.

I have been a resident of Bannockburn 1986, first moving on to a small farm and then downsizing to a half acre in town proper where we have resided for the last 20 years. (I almost qualify as local).
