Some of the pages on this website contain links to third party websites not managed by Council. Those sites are not within Council’s control and may not adhere to the same privacy, security, or accessibility standards as Council. Council accepts no responsibility for the content or availability of those sites, or for any associated partners or advertisers. Any link to an external website is provided for information and convenience purposes only.

You may request that certain documents be treated as confidential. However, the final discretion lies with Council.

Artist registration requires a login and password for verification of your identity. You agree that all information provided to Council by you in relation to your account shall be accurate, current and complete.

Password security

We recommend you select a password that does not relate to any readily accessible data such as your name, date of birth, address, telephone number, driver's licence, licence plate or passport. It is also recommended that the combination of letters and numbers is not obvious and does not include sequential or repeated numbers or letters. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your login and password, and for all activity which occurs on or through your account, whether authorised or unauthorised. You should change your password immediately if you believe that your login or password has been used without authorisation. Council accepts no liability for your failure to comply with these obligations.

Website security

Online Services are provided through a secure website [using SSL (secure socket layer) encryption]. However, you acknowledge that internet transmissions are never entirely secure or private, and that any message or information you send to or through the website (including credit card information) may be read or intercepted by others, even where a website is stated to be secure. Council accepts no liability for the interception or ‘hacking' of data through the website by unauthorised third parties.

Accuracy of transaction information

Upon completing a transaction using Online Services, you will be presented with a confirmation screen verifying the transaction details you wish to process. It is your responsibility to verify that all transaction, credit card/account information and other details are correct. You should print the transaction confirmation for future reference and for your files. Council accepts no liability for transactions which are incorrect, or for loss of data or information caused by factors outside of Council’s control.
